Peter Opvik on his Garden chair :
"We should take more heed of what our bodies are telling us and be less concerned with convention.
That is why from the beginning of the 1980s it was essential to demolish the stereotypical ideal of the proper sitting posture. To get this message out, I created a number of products or objects whose impact was more important than their use value. Their purpose was to arouse sympathy for a freer use of the body, Garden was developed more as a message."
